Hello All,
Again I wanted to express how greatly honored I was to be a part of this event. Thank you John T. for allowing me to take part.  This experience is something I'll treasure, which lets me know that what you guys have with each other is a magnificent bond.
I wish I could have met you all, but "Thanks" for making my husband and I feel so welcomed.
All the best,
Cheryl Pardue

Congratulations to John Fisher and all who have worked so hard to make the Memphis reunion so extraordinary. I had hoped and planned that I would be able to join you there, but alas, it is not to be. Ann, my wife, has been seriously ill so I knew she wouldn’t be able to join me but she encouraged me to attend because she knew how much each of you mean to me. Since then we have had some very good news, there is no sign of her disease. Unfortunately her treatments (chemo) have left her feeling very weak and I cannot leave her at this time. Be assured there will be a glass or two or three lifted here that weekend toasting some truly outstanding men and their ladies, men who also just happen to be Marines. Best wishes for a wonderful celebration of our past special time together. Semper Fi Fred Antil

Many thanks to all who had a hand in craeting this website. Sorry to say but Gert & I are unable to be with you in Memphis. A wedding & a graduation have made it impossible for us to attend.Especially disappointed not to see an "old salt" {Charles Mc Kellar} who showed me the ropes in boot camp.Hope to see y'all @ the next reunion.

Mary and I held out hope until the last minute that we could attend this year, especially after I finally retired last May with 48 years teaching  at Clarion University.  Family circumstances are weighing too heavily on us.  We hope to come next time.  Just heard that Jimmie and Reva Hicks just completed  move from Sun City to the D.C. area and won't make it either.

Regretably,  factors of timing and distance prevent our joining the gathering of the best of the Basic Classes. Please make sure a fire team is assigned to keep Perrere out of trouble and his cigar lit!! Best wishes to all -

H-Hour is rapidily approaching.
1 Situation
Enemy Situation:  John Fisher's troops have the Beachhead under control and are waiting for reinforcements
Friendly Situation: Sick, Lame and Lazy are rising for the occasion and are expected to make a good showing
2 Mission
Mission: attack Memphis, overcome natives, seize and occupy popular tourist spots.
3 Execution
Scheme of maneuver is to attack individually by all available means from all points of compass and consolidate center city ASAP. Cooridinate left to right and call JF for any supporting fires necessary.
4 Admin & Logistics
Carry a 6 days supply of Pills for aches and pains enroute. MREs (C-Rations) will be carefully consumed. Plenty of Class 6 and hot chow will be available at consolidation point.
5 Command & Signal
Telecon, E-mail and GPS will be used for communication. In case a key leader falls, succession of command falls to whoever wants the CON.
May God protect us for this endeavor.

The message board can now be read. Sorry the background was so dark for a while. We were told about it earlier but looked in the wrong place to fix it. Sorry all, about that. Talk to us and all the others now.

I note the passing a week ago Of Jack Scneider. I was hoping to see Jack at the reunion next April. Sadly, that is never going to happen. Semper Fi and Rest in Peace, Jack. The list of our deceased classmates is getting to be a long one. We will have to have a memorial to all those who are guarding Heaven's gates when we meet in Memphis.
